Using Evidence-Based Approaches To Strengthen Connection
At the center of our work is a focus on helping people feel more understood, more connected, and more at ease within themselves and their relationships. While each therapist brings their own strengths and areas of focus, the shared foundation is an understanding that many struggles, whether anxiety, depression, or ADHD, are rooted in how we relate to ourselves and others.

Frequently Asked Questions
What can I expect during my first session at KLS Collective?
Your first session with your KLS Collective therapist is a chance for you to get to know one another. They’ll ask questions about your goals with therapy and any concerns or questions you might have. Going forward from your first session, your therapist will be able to cater each session to your specific needs.
Do you accept Aetna insurance for your therapy sessions?
Yes, we are in-network with Aetna insurance. If you don’t have Aetna insurance, we are also in-network with MVP Health Care, CDPHP, and Fidelis insurance providers. Our rates are going to vary based on the length of your session. Additionally, we offer flexible self-pay options and a sliding scale if you do not have insurance.
Will Aetna insurance cover my online therapy sessions?
Yes, it’s very possible your Aetna insurance plan will cover your virtual therapy sessions. But please know that this will depend on your specific Aetna plan. We recommend contacting your insurance provider to learn more about your coverage.
Are your therapy sessions in-person or are they virtual sessions?
We offer online therapy sessions and do not provide any in-person therapy sessions.
How do I know if therapy is the right choice for me?
Therapy can be a great option for many people who are looking to improve their sense of self, learn healthier ways of dealing with stress in life, and/or process difficult events. To learn more about how therapy could potentially benefit you, please feel free to contact us.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, as well as no show appointments, may incur a cancellation fee.
Will everything I share in sessions with my KLS Collective therapist stay private?
Yes, definitely. Everything discussed with a therapist at KLS Collective Group is held in complete confidence. We take privacy seriously and follow very strict confidentiality standards in full compliance with HIPAA regulations. We’re also happy to discuss this during your first session and answer any questions you might have.
What technology do I need to attend a virtual therapy session with my therapist?
All you need is a computer or tablet that has a camera or microphone, and a reliable internet connection.
Do I need a referral from my primary care doctor to start seeing a therapist?
This is going to depend on your insurance plan. We suggest contacting your insurance provider to find out if you need a referral to see a therapist at KLS Collective.
How do I find out my deductible with Aetna insurance?
It’s best to contact Aetna to determine what your current deductible is (or if that deductible has already been met).
What Aetna insurance plans do you accept?
At KLS Collective, we accept all Aetna plans. Feel free to contact your insurance provider directly if you have any questions about the plan, or you can contact us. Our team is always available to help. We want your process with starting therapy to be as smooth as possible.
Do you bill Aetna directly for my therapy sessions?
If you have a copay for your therapy sessions, we’ll bill you directly after each session. Any other billing we will send to Aetna.
