LGBTQ+ Inclusive Therapy Rooted in Cultural Awareness
Whether you’re navigating burnout, anxiety, trauma, or relationships, the work we do together is grounded in trust, understanding, and real change.
You don’t have to explain what it means to be queer, neurodivergent, or BIPOC here — I already get it.
As a therapist who shares many of these lived experiences, I offer therapy that’s not just “inclusive” — it’s actually affirming, intersectional, and deeply respectful of your identity, your story, and your nervous system.

What Queer, BIPOC, and Neurodivergent Clients Often Ask
Do you only work with queer, BIPOC, or neurodivergent clients?
Not exclusively — but my clinical focus and lived experience align most deeply with folks who hold one or more of these identities. I’m especially passionate about working with individuals navigating the intersections of race, gender, sexuality, and neurodivergence. If you’re looking for a therapist who prioritizes cultural responsiveness and identity-affirming care, you’re in the right place.
What does “identity-affirming therapy” actually mean?
It means you won’t need to educate your therapist about your identity or explain why certain experiences feel invalidating or harmful. Identity-affirming therapy acknowledges how systemic oppression, intergenerational trauma, and marginalization shape mental health — and helps you build insight, skills, and self-compassion without pathologizing your experience.
What should I expect from online therapy sessions?
Sessions are held via secure, HIPAA-compliant video platforms. You’ll receive a link before each session — no downloads needed. Expect a space that’s flexible, relational, and focused on what matters most to you. Many clients find that virtual therapy offers more comfort, privacy, and accessibility — especially for those with sensory sensitivities or busy schedules.
Do you have experience working with ADHD or executive functioning challenges?
Yes. As someone who is also neurodivergent, I bring personal understanding and clinical experience to our work. I support clients struggling with time blindness, emotional regulation, perfectionism, and “masking” — particularly when these challenges intersect with racialized or queer experiences. Together, we can explore tools, build self-compassion, and rewrite internalized shame.
Can we talk about racial or intergenerational trauma in therapy?
How do I know if we’re a good fit?
I offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can connect and see if it feels right. The therapeutic relationship is everything — so I’ll always encourage you to choose a therapist who feels like a safe, affirming presence. If I’m not that person, I’ll do my best to help you find someone who is.

A queer Asian American therapist in New York
I’m a licensed therapist (LMSW) offering online therapy for queer, neurodivergent, and BIPOC clients across New York State. As a queer, second-generation Asian American clinician, I understand how difficult it can be to find culturally responsive therapy that truly affirms who you are.
I’ve supported young adults, creatives, helping professionals, and caregivers navigating self-worth, burnout, and identity exploration. My approach is relational, strengths-based, and radically affirming — grounded in the belief that healing happens in relationship, not isolation.
